This new department is part of Altaïr Avocats’ development strategy, which continues to structure its service offering in order to support companies, executives, and investors across the full range of their strategic challenges. By adding employment law to its long-standing expertise, particularly in corporate and M&A matters, the firm strengthens its ability to provide comprehensive support, from structuring transactions through to their human and organizational implications.
The new department is built around four pillars:
Julia Zein’s arrival marks a defining step in Altaïr Avocats’ development. It comes a few months after the tax department was strengthened with the arrival of Philippe Pescayre and Julien Lebel, and reflects the firm’s determination to continue building a multidisciplinary offering that meets companies’ needs at every stage of their development.
A member of the Paris Bar since 2012, Julia Zein began her career at CMS Francis Lefebvre and then Franklin, before embarking on a six-year entrepreneurial path, including two years leading believe.avocats, a firm she founded.
She advises SMEs, mid-market companies, start-ups, and French and international groups on employment law matters, in particular the employment-related aspects of M&A transactions, collective labor relations, social strategy, sensitive negotiations, and litigation. She also handles occupational health and safety issues, crisis management, and working-time matters. Julia Zein is recognized by the Décideurs guide among the rising teams in employment law. She also chairs the Rise association and regularly contributes to the Lamyline and Liaisons sociales publications.
Julia Zein is joined by Louise Sédillot, an associate who is bilingual in Spanish. Their arrival also strengthens the firm’s international dimension, as Julia Zein herself is bilingual in English and Arabic.
